Pillsbury Firm Lays Off 155 Lawyers, Staff

San Francisco-based Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman announced layoffs Thursday: 55 lawyers, 10 paralegals and 90 staff.

SAN FRANCISCO - Thanks to an indiscreet partner talking too loudly on his cell phone, the news that Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman was planning layoffs has been out in the open for weeks.
