L.A. City Attorney Race Trimmed to Two

City Councilman Jack Weiss and environmental litigator Carmen "Nuch" Trutanich are set to face off in a May 19 runoff election for Los Angeles City Attorney. With the field trimmed to two, the race is expected to heat up.

LOS ANGELES - With the race for Los Angeles city attorney headed for a runoff election in May, expect the campaigns to ratchet up their attacks and turn their focus to another city election that was left unresolved Tuesday - to fill the city council seat vacated by front-runner Jack Weiss, observers said.
