SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge Friday sentenced a former Silicon Valley executive to 17 years in prison, calling him a "professional liar" who betrayed his family and assaulted the American legal system.
In the same case, the defendant was exonerated last year of plotting to kill a different judge who sits on the San Francisco bench.
