Veteran Prosecutor Gets $300,000, Job Back

SAN BERNARDINO - Grover Merritt, a veteran San Bernardino prosecutor who contended that District Attorney Mike Ramos fired him ostensibly because Ramos viewed him as a political challenger, will regain his former position as appellate supervisor and get $300,000 to settle his wrongful-termination suit against the county.
