O.C. Prosecutor Is Going Into Private Practice

Kenneth B. Julian, an assistant U.S. attorney who prosecuted former Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona, is joining the white collar criminal defense practice at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.

SANTA ANA - Kenneth B. Julian, one of the two Santa Ana-based assistant U.S. attorneys who prosecuted former Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona, is slated to join Manatt, Phelps & Phillips as a litigation partner at the end of this month.

Julian, 43, said he will handle white-collar criminal defense and general civil trial work from the Los Angeles-based firm's Costa Mesa office.
