Hastings Lobbies Against Drastic Funding Cuts

UC Hastings College of the Law staff, students and alumni are beseeching the state Legislature to strike a provision in Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed budget eliminating all state funding for the school.

SAN FRANCISCO - UC Hastings College of the Law staff, students and alumni are beseeching the state Legislature to strike a provision in Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed budget eliminating all state funding for the school. If enacted, the cuts would erase as much as a quarter of the school's total budget.
