Longtime Marin County Supervisor Gary Giacomini, most recently a Hanson Bridgett LLP partner, died in his sleep on Dec. 2, his son said.

Gary T. Giacomini, a fierce conservationist of Marin County and a partner at Hanson Bridgett LLP, died unexpectedly in his sleep Friday, his son said. He was 77.
Giacomini headed Hanson Bridgett's Marin County office, having worked there for 20 years along with his son, Andrew Giacomini, whom he watched become managing partner.
