State Bar spent at least $156K on booze since 2015
The bar's alcohol expenditures, which averaged out to roughly $7,437 a month through late September, were revealed in the agency's recent response to questions from the state Assembly's Judiciary Committee.

The State Bar has spent at least $156,187 on alcohol since the start of 2015, with most of the spending tied to events hosted by the agency's specialty practice groups.
