A group of 21 law professors has urged the California Supreme Court not to fund the State Bar until the agency's attorney discipline system makes protecting the public its top priority.
The officials' recommendation was among a batch of additional amicus curiae letters submitted to the court last week about the bar's petition for funding in 2017.
