VW says it is working on plan to deal with more polluting vehicles

After agreeing to settle hundreds of lawsuits by consumers and two by the U.S. government that includes buying back 475,000 emissions test cheating diesel engine cars, the German automaker said it is working on a plan for 85,000 illegally polluting diesel cars still on the road.

After agreeing to settle hundreds of lawsuits by consumers and two by the U.S. government that includes buying back 475,000 emissions test cheating 2.0 liter diesel engine cars, German automaker Volkswagen AG said it is working on a much less costly plan for 85,000 illegally polluting diesel cars still on the road.
