Ex-attorney faces federal prison in mortgage fraud

A former Orange County attorney who resigned from the State Bar in 2011 is facing 7 1/2 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to a mortgage fraud that used his law firm to dupe more than 1,500 victims out of at least $6 million.
