State Bar dues bill in limbo again

For the second time in less than a month, the fate of legislation that would authorize the embattled State Bar to collect attorney dues next year is in limbo.

For the second time in less than a month, the fate of legislation that would authorize the embattled State Bar to collect attorney dues next year is in limbo.

The most recent setback came late Tuesday, when the Assembly Judiciary Committee pulled the bill from consideration by its state Senate counterpart because of concerns about planned amendments.
