Prisoners who practice Wicca could receive extended protections to do so while incarcerated, thanks to a recent ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
The divided decision, reached Friday, states that officials in a Sacramento prison violated the rights of William Rouser, a practicing Wiccan who has been incarcerated since the 1970s.
