Entertainment group joins Irell

Irell & Manella snagged leading dealmaker Joshua B. Grode and five other attorneys from Liner LLP, its first laternal hire since 2010.

Irell & Manella LLP snagged entertainment dealmaker Joshua B. Grode and five other attorneys from Liner LLP, both firms confirmed Wednesday. Grode joined the firm's Los Angeles office Thursday as a partner and will serve as co-chairman of the transactions practice group. His is the first lateral partner hire at Irell since 2010, according to the firm.
