Sideman & Bancroft hires former head of HP's anti-counterfeiting program

David Cooper joins the firm in a nonlegal capacity, as head of strategy and innovation for a branding practice group.

Sideman & Bancroft LLP announced the hire Thursday of David Cooper, formerly the worldwide leader of Hewlett-Packard Co.'s anti-counterfeiting program. Cooper will work in a nonlegal position as global head of strategy and innovation in the firm's new Brand Integrity and Innovation Group, which assists clients in operating their international brand programs.
