First of two new judges takes place at CJP

Thomas Maddock is one of two judges appointed by the California Supreme Court to the state's Commission on Judicial Performance. The other appointee is Ignazio J. Ruvolo of the 1st District Court of Appeal, and begins May 1.

SACRAMENTO - Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge Thomas M. Maddock on Monday will inherit a challenging responsibility for a bench officer - judging his peers.
