Company to pay $4.64 million in employment case

Denise Steffens claimed Regus Group PLC fired her after she raised concerns over possible wage-and-hour violations.

A former building manager won more than $4.5 million Friday in a wrongful termination case against Regus Group PLC, a Texas-based company that rents out office space with support staff.


Plaintiffs' attorneys said the jury award was one of the largest for such cases in recent memory.
