Riverside district attorney faces challenger in 2014 election

Michael A. Hestrin, a Riverside County senior deputy district attorney, announced Thursday that he will challenge incumbent Paul Zellerbach in the June 2014 election.

Michael A. Hestrin, a Riverside County senior deputy district attorney, announced Thursday that he will challenge incumbent Paul Zellerbach in the June 2014 election. Hestrin, former president of the local prosecutors union, made the announcement after rumors of his campaign circulated in the local legal community for weeks.
