Kozinski Orders Gay Spousal Benefits

In a blistering order, the chief judge of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals took an aggressive stance Thursday toward reconciling the spousal rights of married gay U.S. government lawyers with the federal government's official refusal to recognize gay marriage.
