UCI Progresses With Full Scholarship Goal

Despite the troubled economy, the new law school at UC Irvine is making decent progress toward its goal of giving full scholarships to all students in its inaugural class.

SANTA ANA - Despite the troubled economy, the new law school at UC Irvine is making decent progress toward its goal of giving full scholarships to all students in its inaugural class.

Dean Erwin Chemerinsky and chief fundraiser Charles Cannon said this week the school already has raised a third of the estimated $6 million it would need to fund 60 students for three years.
