Defense attorneys in the Broadcom stock option backdating scandal this week accused the lead prosecutor in the case of leaking grand jury information, in a long-awaited prosecutorial misconduct motion.
The 41-page motion filed by the legal team for Broadcom's former chief financial officer William J. Ruehle depicts an overly aggressive prosecutor who also engaged in a pattern of "icing" witnesses.
