Insurance Department, Title Company Agree on Settlement

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Department of Insurance announced Thursday that Old Republic Title Company will pay the state $513,499 to settle a year-old enforcement action against the company for allegedly failing to pay customers money earned from interest on escrow accounts and charging fees for services it did not provide.
