No Compassion for the
In the Public Interest By David A. Lash Primary day in California left far too many in a secondary position. It was generally not a good day to be relatively voiceless, as few candidates or voters raised their voices with compassion. The failure of Proposition 26, the passage of Proposition 22 and the relative silence on issues of concern to the poor from the presidential candidates has sent a stinging message.
