9th Circuit Judge Wiggins Remembered for Nixon Defense

SAN FRANCISCO - Judge Charles E. Wiggins, for 16 years a conservative voice on the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the former Orange County congressman who staunchly defended President Nixon during the Watergate scandal in the 1970s, has died in Las Vegas of complications from diabetes. He was 72.
