Mattel Attacks Firm and Partner For Barbie Libel
Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps and partner James B. Hicks have been sued for slander and libel by Mattel Inc., which claims that the lawyer falsely said on nationally syndicated television that the giant toy-maker copied a rival doll for a line of its popular Barbie dolls, putting the other doll maker out of business.
