Publisher Fires Parting Shot at Judges Who Carry Guns Without Permits
Tim Crews is not a wimp. On the eve of starting a five-day contempt stretch in the Tehama County Jail in Red Bluff, the publisher and editor of the Sacramento Valley Mirror had the gall to write and publish a story under the New York Post-style headline, "Tehama judges defy concealed weapons law." The article asserted that two of the county's Superior Court judges "have a history for carrying concealed weapons without permits."
