Therma-Wave Heats Up Stock Market With IPO
Kirkland & Ellis THERMA-WAVE HEATS UP STOCK MARKET WITH IPO Therma-Wave Inc. successfully completed the final stage of its IPO with the sale of an additional 1,350,000 over-allotment shares of common stock at $20 per share. Therma-Wave initially offered $9 million stocks for purchase on Feb. 3, when they were priced at $20 rather than the expected $15 to $17 per share. The stock opened on the Nasdaq Market at $30 a share and closed at the end of the day at $37 a share.
