Test Case for Trial Bar a No-Go at State High Court

The California Supreme Court has refused to hear a high-profile case that trial lawyers rallied behind, hoping to overturn state limits on medical malpractice lawsuits. Word of the rejection late Wednesday heartened industry groups but drew disappointed vows from the trial bar to appeal more cases like it in short order.
