Veteran Prosecutor Named U.S. Magistrate Judge

Federal judges in the Northern district of California have chosen assistant U.S. attorney Laurel D. Beeler to become the district's newest magistrate judge.

Federal judges in the Northern district of California have chosen assistant U.S. attorney Laurel D. Beeler to become the district's newest magistrate judge.

The clerk of the court announced Wednesday evening that Beeler will replace Oakland Magistrate Judge Wayne D. Brazil, who is retiring.
