High Court Ruling Hits Plaintiffs' Attorneys

Thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, plaintiffs' attorneys now have to think twice before filing civil lawsuits in federal court. Justice Anthony M. Kennedy authored a little-noticed opinion last term that tells lower court judges they should dismiss claims that lack "facial plausibility."
