Former SEC Chair Heads to Bingham McCutchen's OC Office

Christopher Cox, the recently departed chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission and longtime congressman, is returning to Southern California to join Bingham McCutchen as a partner in the Costa Mesa office.

Christopher Cox, the recently departed chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission and longtime congressman, is returning to Southern California to join Bingham McCutchen as a partner in the Costa Mesa office.

Cox is expected to enhance the firm's 17-lawyer Orange County office, which he joins as a corporate and securities transactional partner, and as a principal at a subsidiary consulting business....
