Federal Circuit rejects bid to double fee award in patent case

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Monday rejected Sidley Austin LLP's bid to double a $4.6 million legal fee award obtained in a patent infringement dispute.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Monday rejected Sidley Austin LLP's bid to double a $4.6 million legal fee award obtained in a patent infringement dispute.

The Federal Circuit panel of Chief Judge Sharon Prost, Judge Jimmie V. Reyna and Judge Raymond T. Chen affirmed the award without explanation.
