When Santa Clara-based chipmaker Intel Corp. announced late Sunday its plans to acquire Infineon Technologies' wireless chip business for $1.4 billion, it not only furthered its push into the market for mobile devices, but also advanced the upswing in large acquisitions for 2010.
San Francisco-based Morrison & Foerster lawyers counseled Intel on the transaction.
