Alibaba.com, a leading Chinese e-commerce company, announced its acquisition of Chico, Calif.-based Auctiva Thursday, making it one of the multitude of Asian acquirers to purchase California companies in recent years. The deal meant business for Silicon Valley lawyers at Dewey & LeBoeuf and K&L Gates.
