SAN FRANCISCO - Jennifer R.S. Detjen was confirmed Friday as an associate justice of the Fresno-based 5th District Court of Appeal.
A Madera County Superior Court judge for nine years, Detjen, 55, was nominated by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Justice Steven M. Vartabedian.
