Washington, D.C.-based Covington & Burling beefed up its presence in Silicon Valley by transferring three partners from its D.C. office - intellectual property lawyer Kurt Calia, commercial litigator Emily Henn and corporate lawyer Emily Leonard, who is vice chair of the firm's life sciences industry group. The moves bring Covington's lawyer count in Redwood Shores to 17.
