Judges owed raises plus interest, court rules

The state of California must reimburse judges millions of dollars in salary raises not paid from 2008 to the current year, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled Wednesday.

The State Controller of California did not have the right to suspend statutorily-mandated pay raises to judges from 2008 to the present, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge ruled.
