Ex-bar director withdraws injunction request

A judge indicated he would not grant a motion asking the State Bar to either reinstate former executive director Joseph L. Dunn or prove his removal was lawful, prompting attorneys for Dunn to withdraw the request and instead seek relief post-arbitration.

LOS ANGELES - Attorneys for Joseph L. Dunn on Tuesday withdrew their motion asking The State Bar of California to either reinstate Dunn as executive director or prove his ouster in Nov. 2014 was lawful, after the judge indicated he was unpersuaded by their preliminary injunction papers.
