U.S. District Judge Charles R. Breyer will preside over the hundreds of nationwide cases against Volkswagen AG over vehicle software designed to cheat emissions testing, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation announced Tuesday.
Breyer, a senior judge in the Northern District and a member of the multidistrict litigation panel, has nearly 20 years of experience on the bench.
