An outside auditor has raised concerns to State Bar leaders that the organization, with a $150 million annual budget, has no chief financial officer.
The bar, which a recent state audit concluded has lacked accountability with its spending, has been without a permanent CFO since its last one was placed on paid administrative leave a year ago.
