CPUC levies $16.7M fine on Southern California Edison

Administrative law judge finds communications violations, breaches of ethics violations.

The California Public Utilities Commission fined Southern California Edison $16.7 million on Thursday, finding the utility had misled the commission and failed to report communications a utility executive had with then-CPUC President Michael Peevey regarding the closure of the San Onofre nuclear plant.
