Donald Trump and the 'supervisory power' of the courts
Commentators thus far have overlooked a remedy for the federal court judges as Trump continues his attempts to intimidate and demean them: the supervisory power of the federal courts.

President Donald J. Trump again went after judges of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this week. His attack follows the court's decision on Monday to uphold Hawaii District Judge Derrick Watson's finding that Trump's second travel ban is unlawful as it irrationally targets six Muslim nations. The morning after the decision, Trump tweeted "Well, as predicted, the 9th Circuit did it again -- Ruled against the TRAVEL BAN at such a dangerous time in the history of our country."
