Building owners and operators should get ready for new green building requirements around the corner.
Next year, the California Energy Commission will require them to start tracking and disclosing the energy consumption of their commercial industrial and retail properties. Though the law doesn't immediately take effect, attorneys say building operators should start preparing now.
