Apple must disclose HTC licensing deal to Samsung, judge orders

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. will get a look at legal adversary Apple Inc.'s licensing agreement with HTC Corp., a San Jose magistrate judge ordered late Wednesday.

SAN JOSE - Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. will get a look at legal adversary Apple Inc.'s licensing agreement with HTC Corp., a San Jose magistrate judge ordered late Wednesday.

Attorneys for South Korea-based Samsung hope to use information in the deal to argue against a permanent injunction Apple seeks that would block the sale of some of its smartphones and tablet computers in the U.S.
