Long Beach and environmental group sue LA over rail cargo project

Environmentalists and the city of Long Beach have sued the city and Port of Los Angeles over its approval of a large new rail cargo project.

Environmentalists and the city of Long Beach have sued the city and Port of Los Angeles over its approval of a large new rail cargo project to be built near the cities' borders.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC is aiming to build a $500 million facility for trucks to shuttle cargo between container ships and rail cars.
