Environmentalists and the city of Long Beach have sued the city and Port of Los Angeles over its approval of a large new rail cargo project to be built near the cities' borders.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe LLC is aiming to build a $500 million facility for trucks to shuttle cargo between container ships and rail cars.
