Judge gives suspended lawyer jail time

Judge Frederick N. Wapner sentenced 49-year-old sole practitioner Kenneth Roger Markman to a year in county jail and a year of residential treatment.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge sentenced a suspended attorney to jail time and treatment on Friday for trying to smuggle methamphetamine and heroin into an L.A. County criminal court for a client.


Judge Frederick N. Wapner sentenced 49-year-old sole practitioner Kenneth Roger Markman to a year in county jail and a yearlong residential treatment program as part of a three-year probation program....
