Shearman & Sterling LLP advised the lead underwriters in Milestone Apartments REIT's $200 million initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange, which closed Wednesday. The offering is the first ever of a U.S. real estate investment trust organized as a non-U.S. entity on a non-U.S. exchange.
