State Bar committee backs dues surcharge, but not without dissent
A State Bar committee vote on Wednesday moved the agency one step closer to levying more dues annually on all licensed California lawyers, whose additional money would be applied to legal aid services.

SACRAMENTO - A State Bar committee vote on Wednesday put the agency one step closer to levying higher annual dues on all licensed California lawyers to help fund legal aid services.
