Trial lawyer David S. Smith, who was one of the oldest attorneys still practicing law in California and a founding partner of the law firm now called Richards, Watson & Gershon PC, died Friday. He was 95.


Family and friends recalled him as "a lawyer's lawyer," someone dedicated to his clients, other attorneys and the practice of law.
