Susan C. Alker will jump from Reed Smith LLP to the Los Angeles office of Winston & Strawn LLP on Wednesday, according to sources familiar with the move.

Alker, a corporate lawyer, has extensive experience representing major banks, financial institutions, private equity funds and hedge funds in lending transactions, according to her page on Reed Smith's website, which was still online Tuesday.
